Jakiś czas temu przygotowałem ścieżkę dźwiękową do prac Magdaleny Franczak. W Miejscu Projektów Zachęty w Warszawie, odbyła się wystawa dwóch artystek - Yael Frank i Magdaleny Franczak pt. "Lód topnieje Pani Frankczak". Po kilku latach, przeglądając dźwiękowe archiwa, znalazłem utwór z wystawy, a także osobne tracki, z których powstał. Zacząłem słuchać ich jak osobnych utworów. Okazało się, że to dobry początek do dalszej dźwiękowej podróży. Pomyślałem, żeby nawiązać do pojedynczych tracków i na ich podstawie nagrać nową muzykę.
Tak powstał ten album.

Some time ago I prepared a soundtrack for the works of Magdalena Franczak. At the Zacheta Project Space in Warsaw, there was an exhibition of two artists - Yael Frank and Magdalena Franczak titled "The ice is melting Mrs. Frankczak". "The Ice is Melting Mrs. Frankczak". After a few years, while browsing through sound archives, I found the piece from the exhibition, as well as the separate tracks from which it was created. I started listening to them as separate tracks. It turned out to be a good start for further sonic journey. I thought of referring to the individual tracks and recording new music based on them.
That's how this album came to be.
